Location: West Monroe, NY

Purpose: Chemical treatment to remove common reed

Description: As common reed spreads out across the marsh, the native plant communities will be reduced in size and diversity

Resource Value: Habitat preservation and restoration

Cost: Estimated at $50,000 plus cost of herbicide

Permit Requirements: Temporary Revocable Permit (TRP)
